Today I have been getting ready for my talk in Eyebrow this weekend.
The Tagaske Quilt guild has invited me to give a talk about my work during their quilt show.
How exciting
I will be seeing out friends and new friends, it is going to be an exciting Saturday.

It's All New to Me

I have been following fellow artists on their blogs for years and have been thankful that they have allowed me into their lives. So I thought maybe I should give it a try and see what happens.

I am a mixed media fibre artist - I love to hand dye and paint all of my own fibres before I get down to the business of creating.

I have 4 children - 2 live in the home with me and the other 2 frequent the house when in need of laundry services or food supplies - but I would not have it any other way.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier - Molly - who keeps all of us in laughter as she is a little monkey with multiple personalities.

My partner is a weekend farmer - and if you have been following the news Saskatchewan is in a bad place right now - too wet.

But enough of that

Fibre arts

I belong to a group of 9 - Articulation and we travel the countryside studying. We have shown our work in many venues across Canada and have more venues fir the future.

Sept 15 - 22 saw the group getting together in the maritimes and studying the Bay of Fundy. It was an amazing week of new experiences, seeing old friends and being inspired beyond belief.
